TruLens is an open-source library for evaluating and tracing LLM applications and agents. It instruments an app, records traces, and scores outputs with feedback functions, including the RAG triad: context relevance, groundedness, and answer relevance.
It supports custom metrics, batch and inline evaluation, and OpenTelemetry-based tracing across multiple model providers. Originally built at TruEra, it is now maintained as open source under Snowflake.
