Miapi is a grounded AI answers API that combines real-time web search with LLM processing to return factual responses with inline citations and confidence scores. One API call to /v1/answer returns a sourced answer with links, no RAG pipeline needed. The API is OpenAI-compatible (/v1/chat/completions) and supports streaming, news search, image search, and a knowledge mode for custom documents. Average response time is around 1.1 seconds. A Python SDK and MCP server are available for integration. Free tier includes 500 queries per month, paid tiers range from $3.60 to $2.50 per 1,000 queries.
