Agno, formerly phidata, is an open-source framework and runtime for agent platforms. The SDK builds agents; the AgentOS runtime serves them as a REST API with SSE and websockets and stores sessions, memory, knowledge and traces in your own database. It also adds JWT-based RBAC, human approval for tools, scheduling and OpenTelemetry tracing.
It deploys anywhere containers run, with starter templates for Docker, Railway, AWS, GCP, Azure, Fly, Render and Modal. Licensed Apache-2.0. phidata.com now redirects to agno.com.
