CC Switch is an open-source desktop app that centralizes management of multiple AI coding providers across tools like Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, and Gemini CLI. It runs a local routing service that translates request formats, selects the active provider, applies failover rules, and records request and usage data.
It tracks requests, tokens, cache hits, costs, and quota limits, and manages MCP servers, skills, prompts, and session recovery across apps. Routing runs locally on the developer machine rather than through external servers.
